Before you begin spa shopping, consider these key points so that you are informed and find the perfect spa design for your family’s needs.
Did you realize that you can get a spa shaped to fit in 90-degree angle corners? We offer oval-shaped models, square-shaped models, and rectangular-shaped models as well.
Will it just be you and your partner enjoying your spa, or do you have family and friends that you entertain regularly?
Either way, we’ve got you covered. We have models that seat anywhere from 2 – 8 people!
Whatever shape and size you choose, bear in mind that your selected location must be suitable and prepared for a hot tub. The area will need to be flat and meet the following minimum standards:
- If you are planning on installing it on existing patio concrete, be sure that said concrete is a minimum of 4 inches thick and reinforced.
- Plan to install on a deck? Be sure that your deck has been designed to support a minimum of 100 pounds per square foot.
Are you rehabilitating an injury? Do you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis? Hydrotherapy can soothe your aches and pains.
Do you simply enjoy the cozy feeling of the hot water and the massage jets? Well, you’ll benefit from the hydrotherapy whether you have a nagging ailment or not!
Are you an avid swimmer? Do you want to perform a multitude of exercises that will be easy on your joints? Do you want to workout at home, in private? A swim spa is your answer…
Swim, underwater treadmill, rowing, resistance band work, etc… You can strengthen and tone every muscle group without the pain you’d experience outside the buoyancy of the water.
Swim spas also feature hydrotherapy massage seats so that you can recover from exercise, relieve aches and pains, and simply relax with company.
Your budget needs to contain spa set up costs. These could include:
- A concrete slab, if needed
- Requisite electrical components installed
- Monthly energy cost
- Water treatment products
- Accessories, as needed or desired
So get a sheet of paper out and begin plotting your spa plan…
